My New Combichrist Photo - Policy Violation

Can someone explain to me why this image required a mature tag?
Too spooky?
No one at DA seems to be able to explain it...
My Dir En Grey image was also deleted as a copyright violation though I have contacted support and informed them that I shot the image myself and own it. I've requested three times it be reinstated or they explain why it was deleted but I've gotten no reply.
Lame.

never ceases to amaze me, that this is DEVIANT-art.
Perhaps this site chose the wrong name when it opened, and forgot to change it to something like 'fluffycloud-art' or something like that.
seriosly - the censors need to get theiract together as your image is not offensive at all imo

By the way, I've seen a lot of black metal/goth/grindcore band photos and the one of Combichrist is the best I've seen.
Regarding the copyright pic, I'd just upload it again and see what happens.
As to many of the other comments here, all I can say is so what if it's tagged, get over it. If it had been banned then maybe there would be case for shouting about it but it hasn't and won't be. The tag is there so that people who voluntarily don't want to see (presumably) scary pics (lets face it, it is weirdy scary, which is the appeal of the image) can choose not to see them by clicking the relevant button. Let's remember that there are all types of people on here of all ages submitting and viewing photos and art. This site isn't just for you lot.
I strongly suspect that it could scare a few children who accidentally come across it - yup!, there are children here showing the world what they can do with their cameras and drawing pens, be it photos of their pet hamster or drawings of their house and family.
So come on, show a bit of thought; deal with it and move on.
PS. Judging by the amount of foul language in the comments here, perhaps they should be tagged as well. But then DA does have its contradictions!
probably because they never look into issues they just instantly take action.
