I think in order for any artist or photographer to be at his most creative he must be fresh, change is good for that, a routine is nice and its nice to be settled, you miss it to an extent, but you would miss your adventures more. My feelings are with you, Im going through something similar myself.
Why are you feeling so bad then? You should step out of the box of 'how you are living' and do some crazy stuff...if you feel like a robot! (bad english, yes i know)
ok,you are right...but we need to recognize it mostly to promote change...when the pain is greatest, then it outweighs the fear of the new.is your pain great enough?does this man really need someone else to champion him hecate?
Aren't you moving to LA soon..? perhaps a change of scenery will make you feel better..? What makes you happy? Make changes to achieve that, you have the right to be happy no matter what, I'm sure everything will work out for you, it could be just a rough patch now with everything changing... I hope you feel better soon.. *hug*
After my divorce, I spent 2 and a half months in India (company sent me). I was pretty much away from everything I knew and everyone I cared about; basically alone. After the initial shock of leaving life in Texas for this new, kinda scary place, I got comfortable with the speed and the movement of the culture, to the point that I was hesitant to come home. My divorce, my worries about work, my future, and my money problems sort of just became like little puzzle pieces that I found the right spot for. Let's say that I had an emotional rebirth (not to sound like a total hippy).
I'm not saying go to India, necessarily (it's a bloody expensive flight), but maybe try to spend some time somewhere that lets you escape the "usual". Get away from people and things that you know, and whatever you take for granted.
There's nothing quite like the Maharaja Mac at a McDonald's in India. Just a little fun fact...
Good Luck Warner
